The AAL House (Ambient Assisted Living House) was developed, within the framework of the European radio project, by the Laboratory for the Design of Embedded Systems and Applications at its facilities in Patras.

It is a technology laboratory with integrated state-of-the-art technologies related to the environments of autonomous living and smart home.

It is a fully equipped house of 60sq.m. supported by sponsorships of large European companies with related objects of activity.

It is supported by the Laboratory of Design of Embedded Systems and Applications and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The operation of the house is based on the ATLAS infrastructure.

It is an integrated Platform, which aims to interconnect from-end-to-end heterogeneous sensor networks in a homogeneous manner, and to develop services to end-users.

ATLAS has been developed by the Laboratory for the Design of Embedded Systems and Applications.

Through the augmented reality equipment of the laboratory ( Microsoft HoloLens 2 ) o visitor can be informed about the technologies that exist in the house and interact with the smart devices of the house.
